Although she did not grow up playing soccer, Christine has been involved with the sport since her children started playing in 1998. Her children were referees, house league players, travel team players, and coaches, sometimes all in the same season. She has also coached and managed teams throughout the years. Christine joined the CUSC as a board member in 2001 and became our Club Administrator in 2014. In 2024, Christine became our Club General Manager. In her spare time away from soccer, she enjoys spending time with her family and her three rescue dogs, volunteering in dog rescue in Northern Manitoba, camping, traveling, and watching hockey.

Lea Pankhurst - CUSC Director (Technical) of Soccer, is a dedicated professional with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) Degree in Sports Coaching Science & Physical Education. His degrees are complemented by a diverse array of coaching qualifications in Soccer, Basketball, Athletics, and Multi-Sports, including extensive experience as a former Senior Basketball Coach in the US and Director of The Environment Network Camp and Collingwood Youth Centre. Beyond his coaching roles, he is deeply committed to community initiatives such as the "Project Butterfly" Food Security Initiative for Collingwood Residents, the creation of the CYC Youth Council, and "No Home in Sight," a documentary addressing youth homelessness. Lea's multifaceted background underscores his passion for youth, sports, education, and community development. We're pleased to have him working with our Youth House League, Development, and Rep programs.
